We did experience some inconvenience during our stay. There was an alarm that went off in the morning, possibly from a nearby cement plant, and it disrupted our sleep.

The rooms at Masseria Torre Spagnola are air-conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV. It was a relief to come back to a cool and comfortable room after a long day of exploring Matera. The flat-screen TV added a modern touch to the cozy ambiance of the room.

While the patio was a nice feature, I personally didn't spend much time there. Matera has so much to offer, and I found myself out exploring rather than lounging in the room.

The room at this hotel was very fresh, perfect for the hot weather. the friendly staff provided useful information about the region and spoke perfect English. the breakfast was superb and had everything you could want. the hotel is also in a great location, with stunning views of the sunset and easy access to local attractions.

It would have been nice if there was a bar or restaurant on the property, so guests wouldn't have to drive into town for dinner.

I had the most incredible stay at a castle with a wow factor. The room I stayed in was like a fairytale tower, unlike anything I've experienced before. The hostess was so enthusiastic and shared the fascinating history of the place. And let's talk about the breakfast! It was absolutely exceptional, with homemade dairy products that were to die for. I highly recommend this unique and unforgettable accommodation.
